Altered earrings

These had feathers hanging and the owner was going to throw them way. I rescued them and found a circle bead for the bottom instead. Lets hope she likes them!

Bag charms

I have long wanted to have a go at a bag charm, so I made one for Kate who I work with as a trial! She liked it so may be it was OK!

I am not so happy with the one I did for myself. I love the key with the added wings, but I did not have any larger beads to add to it so all the beads I have added are a bit small, instead of various sizes, I can change it when I find some beads I like. I added some coiled, coloured, wires instead and I am not sure I like those either! I am hard to please!!!

Easter Cards

I have actually found time to make easter cards this year for my neice and nephews and my sister, thats as far as it goes I am afraid, but it makes a nice change.

I have used some lovely Docrafts decoupage sheets that I found in an order of stamps I purchased from Docarfts, a lovely free gift.

Not very good photos I am afraid a but last minute before I put the cards in the enverlopes! At least I got to play with some diecutting and embossing folders.

Anniversary card for my Sister. xx

At last I have completed some more crafting!! I have been collecting some more stash, this happens on an all to regular basis, I seem to find the time to shop then run out of time to actually craft. This needs sorting :)

I have had the promarkers out to colour this stamp that I purchased from Lili of the Valley. I did not have many stamps to choose from for anniversary cards or get well cards so I had this one which was part of a set that included a get well, wedding, baby and some word stamps. The mat to the stamped image I coloured with distress inks and them stamped a background to tone in with the base card stock.

Closing Ceremony

I was so excited to be able to go to the closing ceremony of the Paralympics. It was fabulous there was lots to see and the atmosphere was wonderful. So much was happening and the lovely people I sat next to kept pointing things out and then I would see something and point that out. Dean being Dean had to nip off for a drink and then again, off to the loo! I did not want to leave my seat for fear of missing something. Amazing just does not cover it. The whole olympics has been wonderful and I did have tears when the flame went out and when we were part of those last lot of fire works.

Calendar into scrapbook page

I had a calendar from my sister last year and have now made it into a scrapbook page to keep at work. All the family faces can help when i get stressed!!
