More new products from Stampin up - Butterflies Thinlits Die

This is available from 6th January 2015 and will be item number 137360 at www.craftingshaz.stampinup.net

These are great the largest butterfly is approximatly 11cm x 10cm.

I have used them to make some 40th birthday gifts and card for a friend.

All matching. I have made a card, decorative bottle label and a small box that holds some tea lights. One of the large butterflies has been cut from white card and I sponged with Pool party and then spritzed with the vanilla shimmer smooch spritz. the other has been cut from Pool Party and this has also been spritzed. I also took the sprtiz to the greeting on the card.
The embossing folder will also be new, it is called Spring flowers.

New Stampin Up products - Paper bag die - available 6th January 2015

The new paper bag die it is called Mini Treat Bag Thinlits die and will be item number 137547 in the spring summer and sale-a-bration catalogue release.

I loved the idea of this die and could not wait to try it. I have found out something about the die...it will NOT fit in the Cuttlebug, it is too wide. I have not yet purchased the big shot from Stampin up as I am limited for space, and the next machine I wanted to buy would have been an A4 machine, and hopefully one that folded like the Cuttlebug. I have used the die by using some else's machine and I do love it.

The word dies are included, as is the bow. It is not a Christmas set, but I wanted to make these just before Christmas, they would be great for a small quick gift.

Second half of World card making day

I have had a crafting day, and have made some more cards. Cherry cobbler has been the colour of the afternoon.

I still stayed with Christmas, until I remembered some old Stampin up sets I had already stamped, so I made those up as well.

The Halloween has an embossed section on the right.

Also did a small gift card.

National card making day

I have been card making today which is national card making day. It has started out with a Christmas theme, I hope you like the cards. many of the items from this first batch are available from me. You can always contact me if you would like any help.

I am having a great time.

Get well card

My sister had to miss our Silver Wedding Anniversary meal as she was poorly, so I sent back a get well soon card, with a little note in side. She has a great eye regarding interior design and colours and arranging things, and the gift she sent over with my dad, was beautifully decorated and arranged. Thank you Sis xx.

She also made a cake, but only iced it the day before she was ill, so she did not know if we wanted to eat it! At the time of writing, we are still wondering! It is fruit so it will be OK to wait a while. I loved the glitter icing on our names, and she was going to bring a chocolate one as well, we were very spoilt.

My colleague at work also made a cake, this one was sponge so we are eating this one first.

This was the gift arrangement from my sister, it was fabulous.

Christmas banner using Stampin Up products

The last project from the weekend away. We had to finish this at home as the advent calendar took quiet a while, it just made the whole thing last a lot longer! I still have to ad a few sequins to this, but wanted to get some photos completed.

Christmas Advent Calendar using Stampin Up

This was the major project we completed on the craft retreat, we all applauded when we saw the one Julie had made. She supplied us all with an Ikea frame, and it is a good size at approx 50cm x 50cm.

It was not a hard project, but there was a lot of paper to cut for all of those 24 boxes!

I have not added a 'Happy Christmas' sentiment to my inner scene, I did not know if I actually wanted it there or not, and am still wondering. We were given the Christmas paper pack, and sequins, and a pack of the boxes.
