Christmas Advent Calendar using Stampin Up

This was the major project we completed on the craft retreat, we all applauded when we saw the one Julie had made. She supplied us all with an Ikea frame, and it is a good size at approx 50cm x 50cm.

It was not a hard project, but there was a lot of paper to cut for all of those 24 boxes!

I have not added a 'Happy Christmas' sentiment to my inner scene, I did not know if I actually wanted it there or not, and am still wondering. We were given the Christmas paper pack, and sequins, and a pack of the boxes.

Luxury card or Mini album Stampin Up products.

This is another project from my crafting weekend away.

This is a very special card or you can use it as a mini album. it has a belly band.

Then the card is gate fold with smaller cards inside which open, so you have plenty of room inside the card for sentiments, images, or papers and if you are using as a mini album, then you have plenty of room for pictures.

It has also made me place the stamp and die set on my want list!

Paper Haven retreat 2014 project 1 Stampin Up

I was so excited, my second time at the retreat in Leeds. All supplies were Stampin Up, apart from the tin in the below project and a few other things we decorated, but they were all included in the price, as were all the meals and two nights accommodation. We had a great time.

I made 6 thank you cards for the inside of my tin. if you are interested about any of the supplies that made these I can let you know, as I am an Independent Demonstrator and can get the items. If anyone is interested in going next year I can point you in the right direction, the sooner you choose to go the better the monthly payments will be.

Christmas is coming!

We have to start some time and I think I better start some Christmas cards instead of leaving it until last minute .com.

I love the Festival of trees stamp set and I think I could make a lot of cards with that one, this is the only one I have had time to finish at the moment.

I would like to make this card again an heat emboss the tree as I think the black is a little bit to harsh, I will try one in the week if I don't crash out every night after work.

Stampin Up simple little card

My bow skills have taken a nose dive! This is a great little stamp set for a quick and pretty card it is called pictogram punches. The flowers were stamped and then the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack fit the images perfectly allowing you to raise the flowers over the stems of the stamped vase.

With Sympathy

We all have to face these cards, hopefully not too often. This one I have used blendabilities and a simple sentiment stamp.

Stampin' Up compliments other craft items.

This is not a stampin' up image, but you can see how the stampin' up products fit in with all your other crafting items. I have used the Dictionary back ground stamp on the Kraft card stock.

Then the newspaper back ground paper from the Typeset paper pack on this other card. The wooden pieces are stampin' up Essentials wooden elements. One has been tinted with daffodil delight and stamped on and the other has been stamped with a sentiment and and the edges sponged with colour.

I have used the Stampin' Up Hardwood background stamp on this next one.

Mix your stampin' up purchases with all your other crafting items, we all like to collect a wide range of stash!

Stampin' Up Inspiration

I have gained some inspiration from lots of lovely crafters on Facebook, Pinterest, forums, blogs and you Tube and today I have gained inspiration for a Stampin Up project from my PJ's!

I went to my Stampin' up ink pads and picked out Blushing Bride, Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo, Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler. II used the Bloom with Hope stamp set which is a hostess set. I stamped on to Very Vanilla card.

The top I stamped with more images than the bottom, to see how they looked, and I ended up turning the page and cutting in half and made two cards.

I love Cherry Cobbler so used this to accent the stamped back ground.
