Stampin' Up! In Colours Set 3

This is for the people who just do not want to use DSP papers. This is stamping, a sentiment and a decorative punch.

The stamp set I have used is the same as set 2, Touches of Texture. a very versatile set, you can get all sorts of looks.

I have used the stap that looks like a long thin impression of a piece os lace, then the splatter. Added a sentiment which has been put onto a piece of card stock punched with the new Pretty Label punch. If every you need any more information, just contact me as I am not always very good at getting it all down here!

Nearly forgot to mention I used some gems and linen thread also available from SU.

Stampin' up! in colour set 2

The next set used the designer series paper again. One of the floral sides of the paper.

I have also used a flower from the Touches of texture set (watch out for set 3 tomorrow I used more from this set). The ribbons have been used again, this time I have attempted bows! The flower has been die cut with one of the stitched framelet, I hope these framelets stay around for a few catalogues, I love them.

You could use some of the In Colour card stock to put a layer behind the flower to make it pop more. It depends what supplies you have and how much time you have. I like the way they look above.

Have fun crafting, Have you chosen a favorite colour yet?

Stampin' Up! in colours week

This week I have been working with Stampin' up 'in colours'. Let me introduce them:

Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst and Fresh Fig. Check them out here.

The first set I completed this week were these.

I used the designer series paper that you can buy in the colours (this paper is slightly shaded), with the flower shop stamp set and punch. You will see better on the below single shots that I used the new faceted gems in the centre of each flower. The colour coded ribbon is also available to match and it looks lovely behind the flowers. Any sentiment can be uses for these cards. You don't have to get all the colours as shown in the link about, they may not all be your cup of tea, but you can get them singularly. The paper will all come in one pack.

What is your favorite colour? I can't choose at the moment.

Bit dark when I took the photos again, I must do them in better light. It is white and pool party.

Jar of Love Creations

I have at last been able to play and make some creations using the stamp set Jar of Love and the matching dies. I have also made my first mini wood crate with the new framelits that you can purchase from the new catalogue from 1st June.

It's a cute little project, looks like we have some jam jars in a crate to deliver to some friends. A bit of the new in colour Berry Burst. Sorry the photos are a bit dark, I may do a show and tell on You Tube, I will see if I get chance. I just want to craft at the moment. Not everything is turning out as I wanted but I will show good and bad. :)

Happy Crafting xx.

Stampin Up Stamp set Awesomely Artistic

I am loving having a dragon fly in the Stampin Up Catalogue. The stamp set Awesomely Artistic lets you make lovely back grounds as well. At the moment I can't get away from Pacific Point colouring :)

Sorry for the lack of words I am a little short of time at the moment, and last weekend I was not up to much, but I am starting to catch up a bit now especially with the washing and ironing!

Stampin Up Ribbon Trees

I have had the chance to make some more Christmas cards, but am still very behind and need to be making them nightly really to catch up. The trouble is I have started to swim nearly every day after work so do not feel like it when I get home. I have just got to try harder and fit it all in.

On these cards I have been using the tree punch to punch a tree from some Stampin Up card stock and then add some double sided tape to the top making sure it wraps over the back as well. Then I have been covering them with ribbons to make a great textured card topper, They look great on a tag as well.

You can get the supplies from my store apart from the ribbons on the blue trees they are old Stampin Up stock. This is a great way to use up any ribbon scraps you just can not throw away!

On the one below I used white embossing powder, which did not turn out too well, I think I could have done better, but I love the one above. This used the Stampin Up white ink for the snow background.

The below ribbons are no longer available apart from the silver sequins and the Pool party cotton ribbon.
