Stampin' Up! in colours week

This week I have been working with Stampin' up 'in colours'. Let me introduce them:

Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst and Fresh Fig. Check them out here.

The first set I completed this week were these.

I used the designer series paper that you can buy in the colours (this paper is slightly shaded), with the flower shop stamp set and punch. You will see better on the below single shots that I used the new faceted gems in the centre of each flower. The colour coded ribbon is also available to match and it looks lovely behind the flowers. Any sentiment can be uses for these cards. You don't have to get all the colours as shown in the link about, they may not all be your cup of tea, but you can get them singularly. The paper will all come in one pack.

What is your favorite colour? I can't choose at the moment.

More Jar of Love Creations

At the weekend I also made some cards with the Jar of Love framelits and stamp set from Stampin' Up. If you need any information about the products used just let me know. I enjoyed making them all.

Bit dark when I took the photos again, I must do them in better light. It is white and pool party.

Remember tomorrow is the new catalogue day, and I will be placing another order there are a few things I need straight away, you know how it is.

Decorated Wooden Tag

I decorated a wooden tag last weekend as a gift to my Stampin Up mum - my up line Julie Kettlewell. She is opening her own little crafting paradise and all her classes are going to run from this new venue, so I wanted to send my best wishes, and a good luck message. I hope she liked it, it should have been delivered now.

Clear embossing and water colouring

I have been trying the Stampin Up water colour paper. I have clear embossed an image onto the paper and then water coloured over the top using the aqua painters and my ink pads. I love the effect and it is very easy to complete. I did sprinkle some salt over the images to see if I could get an effect and you can see it has pulled some of the ink back off the paper and left a mottle effect.

The inks do not blend like other inks, but there are times when you do not want them to blend and make a different colour.

Let me know if you would like any further information or click the pages on this blogg to get to my Stampin up shop. Happy crafting xx

Fathers day with Stampin Up products

This was my fathers day gift bag and card, made using Stampin Up paper, card, stamps and accessories. I covered a Body shop bag both sides with paper and decorated, then I used four or five different stamp sets to to get the background, the ship, the word Dad and the sentiment.

Stampin' up Baker's Box Thinlits Die

I have had a play with another new die from Stampin' up. The Baker's box thinlits die makes a lovely gift box measuring approx 4" high x 2.25" x 2.75". Would be nice with home made sweets or jewellery.

Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set from Stampin Up

I thought i didn't like the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set from Stampin' up, but i did keep looking at all the samples from other demonstrators and begun to think that may be I must have the set. So my next order included the set, and I am glad I now own it! So I had a late night last night and made a few cards. I wanted to use the 2013-2015 set of in colours that will be leaving the catalogue in the summer, so if you too love the colours get them before they go.

This set of in colours have been the ones I love the most since I started using Stampin' up products and I will be sad if they do not move some of them to the main colour range, as they do that sometimes when a new catalogue is produced.

Simple Stampin Up Sympathy card

I have had to make this card this week to send out to a friend who has a loss, we only just found out at the weekend. I think simple cards are better for these cards.

More new products from Stampin up - Butterflies Thinlits Die

This is available from 6th January 2015 and will be item number 137360 at www.craftingshaz.stampinup.net

These are great the largest butterfly is approximatly 11cm x 10cm.

I have used them to make some 40th birthday gifts and card for a friend.

All matching. I have made a card, decorative bottle label and a small box that holds some tea lights. One of the large butterflies has been cut from white card and I sponged with Pool party and then spritzed with the vanilla shimmer smooch spritz. the other has been cut from Pool Party and this has also been spritzed. I also took the sprtiz to the greeting on the card.
The embossing folder will also be new, it is called Spring flowers.
