I love this Stampin Up Background stamp available here.
It is so versatile. I have not owned it long so this is my first card used with some of my other stash, as I needed a quick new home card. Hope you like it and watch this space for more cards made with this card. :).

Wall Hanging using Fernli Designs products.
I have finally finished my wall hanging. I have purchased a few items from Fernli |Designs, and now have a little stash built up so that I can have a choice of items when I am making a project. I used my hearts wall hanging, and decorated it with lace and pearls. As I state in the video below I printed the pictures onto sticky backed canvas sheets.

Hexagon Boxes
Hi
I have been making some lovely boxes, hexagon shape, and can be decorated very cheaply for males or females.
This olive green one looks great for a fathers day gift. Fill it with your dads favourite sweets.
I used the Mosaic Madness stamp set and punch to decorate the boxes (the box tutorial was from Elaine at papercraft button on YouTube, thank you Elaine). I alternated the colours of the mosaics all the way round, and I hand cut the centre of the mosaic and placed a different colour in the centre of each, a good two tone embellishment.
I went to make another one, using 12 x 12 crushed curry card stock, but messed up the measurement for the top, as the top will just push down and stay closed with out glue, if you measure correctly! But my mistake has been used, and I love it for giving a bottle as a gift. A bottle bag is nice, but this is way better than a bag, what you you think? :)

Here they are together, a great project to make, and I think these will have to go in my folder as a sample of boxes I can make to order. I am going to try and sell some bits and bobs to fund some more crafting goodies.

Birthday Card - Bird Cage
I have been playing with one of my lovely pieces from Fernli Designs. I used one of the bird cages which I have covered with embossing powder. It took three coats to give a lovely smooth finish.
The paper was from a 6x6 pad called Spring Jubilee by Pink Paislee, which I have had on my shelf for a while. I am actually not breaking into a panic when I am now using my hoarded stash! The sentiment is one of my Stampin Up stamps and punch (see www.craftingshaz.stampinup.net to purchase). This card was for my sister and she has said she is looking how to turn it into an embellishment for a scrapbook page. She has done this before as have i with hand made cards, it is a great way to keep the card. I kept one my sister had given me for my last mile stone birthday for a scrapbook page of the day....21 of course!!
